Fitness go-to-market for AI companies

Your product works.
The fitness industry still won't buy it.

I help AI companies sell into gyms, studios, clubs, and certification bodies. I shorten the eighteen months most founders spend learning how this industry actually makes decisions.

The Problem

Fitness looks like a straightforward B2B market from the outside. It isn't.

The person who loves your demo is rarely the person who signs. Four things kill the deal before it reaches a signature.

01

The GM's scorecard

General managers are measured on retention and payroll, not innovation. Your demo isn't on the scorecard.

02

A yes that isn't a yes

Franchise structures mean a yes at corporate is not a yes at the location. You close twice or you don't close.

03

Staff turnover

Every rollout that depends on staff training dies quietly the day the staff changes.

04

The creepy line

Anything touching member data gets read through member trust, not technical accuracy. Privacy-safe still gets rejected as creepy.

None of that is in your market research. All of it decides your pipeline.

Founders usually discover it the expensive way: a year of warm conversations that never close, a pilot that stalls after the champion leaves, a pricing model built for software buyers being sold to operators who think in cost-per-member-per-month.

What I Do

You have the technology. I bring the market.

I've spent 20 years inside this industry. Certified trainer. Educator. Product builder. AI integration consultant to operators and certification organizations. I know how gyms buy, who actually holds the budget, what makes a GM say yes, and where credibility in this market comes from.

This is not AI consulting. You don't need help with your model. You need help with the industry standing between it and revenue.

How We Work Together

Four ways in. One starting point.

Go-to-Market Sprint

4 to 6 weeks · Fixed scope

Ideal operator profile, packaging and pricing built for how facilities actually budget, objection map, pilot structure, and the sales narrative your team can use without you in the room. Delivered as a documented system, not a slide deck.

For teams that have raised and need traction on a clock.

Advisory Retainer

Monthly · 3 to 6 month initial term

Ongoing access for the operator-side questions that come up weekly. Roadmap review against real facility workflows, positioning as you learn, and a read on deals in progress.

For founders who want the industry lens continuously rather than in a burst.

Introductions & Distribution

Case by case

I have direct relationships across operators, certification bodies, and industry education. Where there's genuine fit, I'll open doors. Structured as a defined partnership, discussed after we've worked together and I know your product holds up.

Who This Is For

You'd rather buy the learning curve than live it.

  • You've built something real and shipped it
  • Your buyer is a gym, studio, club, chain, franchise, or certification organization
  • Your pipeline is slower than your product deserves
  • You'd rather buy the learning curve than live it

Who it isn't for

Pre-product founders looking for validation, teams wanting free advisory in exchange for equity alone, and anyone whose main question is which model to use.

FAQ

The questions founders ask first.

Do you take equity instead of fees?

Occasionally, alongside cash. Not instead of it. Equity-only arrangements tend to produce equity-only attention.

Can you introduce us to operators right away?

Not before I know the product. My relationships in this industry are the reason I'm useful, and I only spend them on things I'd stand behind.

Do you also advise gyms on which AI to adopt?

Yes. I'm straightforward with both sides about that, and I won't advise an operator on a category where I have a financial interest in the outcome without saying so.

We're pre-revenue. Is this too early?

If you've shipped and you're selling, no. If you're still deciding what to build, the intensive can help you decide. But be honest with yourself about whether it's the fitness market you actually want.
